Hello All,

I am Teri Vedrenne. I am the President and Managing Partner at Areti Business Services. I wanted to share how I got to this place and hope to excite in you a desire for us to work together.

In December of 1990, I moved to Dallas after getting engaged. My Fiancé and now husband's parents moved him out and welcomed me in for the few months before our wedding day. My Father-in-law was a partner at a CPA firm and they hired me as an administrative assistant/office manager. Little did I know that during the next 29 years I would go from admin to general accounting to tax - sprinkle in tiny bits of audit. In those nearly 30 years I fell in love with the mechanisms that make a company succeed. I also fell in love with our clients! I was a rarity as an organic extravert and "people person" in an accounting firm. Truth be told, to this day I enjoyed the lives and stories of the clients most. Births, deaths, marriages, divorces, it is the stories and relationships forged that I enjoyed, what I enjoy most about being in this business.

We began Areti back in 2009 when the economy took a gut punch. Today's environment is not so different. Back in the beginning we did strategy consulting along with accounting and tried to keep small business afloat and organized while the waters were turbulent. As we have evolved, we are now proudly serving a large spectrum of business types and sizes. Our specialty is quite straightforward. We are accounting and bookkeeping specialists. We are what we like to call "accounting hygienists". We do the work that gets neglected, what is not well understood, needs to be done regularly, correctly, and deftly. If any of that sounds like a gap in your business - what is needed in regard to your books, we would be thrilled to meet you.

We specialize in small businesses. Whether your business is a cottage industry, side hustle or a thriving enterprise, we want to be a part of what makes your business healthy and gives you the thrust to meet your potential.
