Yesterday, we celebrated Gary's birthday, and this year was definitely a happy one.

Gary started the day at church, where the congregation sang happy birthday to him. Next, a trip to Nudy's for breakfast where a small kitchen mishap resulted in a free iced cappuccino. Then, Gary and Tara worked together to make his mom's roast beef recipe and her strawberry shortcake.

The day ended with Gary's daughter, Kaylie, and son-in-law, Eli, coming over for dinner, presents, and cake.

Happy Cybersecurity Month! We're back with another pop quiz.

True or false: "There are only deepfakes of celebrities, not average people."

Answer: False!

The #1 scam affecting senior citizens in 2026 is the Grandparent Scam. In this grift, the scammer addresses their victim as "gram" or "grandpa" over the phone and starts begging for help. They imitate one of the victim's grandchildren in need of money. This scam can be especially convincing with a deepfake of the grandchild's voice, created by using the grandchild's social media as a reference.

With technology so convincing, how can you stay safe? Take things slow! Scammers will try to rush and make unusual payment requests. To stay safe:

1. Pause, hang up, and verify the caller's identity.
2. Ask questions only family would know.
3. Be suspicious of unusual payment requests like gift cards or cryptocurrency.

It's official! 💍 Michelle is engaged!

Jeff popped the question as a surprise earlier this month. Jeff's original plan was to do it around Michelle's birthday, but he was too excited to wait.

The scene was straight out of a romantic comedy. Jeff pretended there was an issue with the car and climbed out to check the tire. He asked Michelle to come and look with him, and when she stepped out of the car, he was there on one knee! Drivers passing by honked their horns in celebration as Michelle said yes.

Deleting your chat history does not mean all of the information associated with your prompt is gone forever. Depending on which AI service you're using and your settings, more information that you think might be retained.

For your privacy, be very careful about what you choose to ask AI. Once you've submitted a prompt, you cannot fully take it back.

Tara and Michelle organized a tea party with family last week! It was truly a princess experience with finger sandwiches, scones, and tiny key lime tarts.

Since we don't gatekeep, we'll happily share that our favorite spot for afternoon tea is A Taste of Britain in Wayne, PA. Thanks to their wonderful staff, the girls had a lovely Sunday brunch.

Answer: False!

By asking AI services specific questions about your health, finances, and relationships, you create a very detailed profile full of personal information over time. "If that gets in the hands of the wrong people, they can misuse it to have a tailor-made scam,” said Tom Clayton, the COO of AI cybersecurity firm, Aura, in a recent interview with Fox News.

Clayton advises to keep passwords, bank information, and Social Security numbers out of AI chats. Be very thoughtful about what you share and what you keep private.

Gary, Michelle, and Jesse hit the golf course with Chester County Young Life!

Young Life is an international, non-denominational Christian ministry that focuses on building relationships with high school students. Four out of five Young Life participants say Young Life has made a significant impact on their faith. For some, Young Life might be the first place they ever truly hear the Gospel.

For that reason, Guided Wealth sponsors many of their fundraising events, including their golf tournament this September. It's one small thing we can do to help the Young Life ministry grow in the Chester County area.
