Hey friends and family! Quick tax update for 2026 that's actually good news! 🎉
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act kicked in, and the rules have changed in some helpful ways:
Estate & gift tax exemption is now up to $15 million per person ($30 million for couples), permanent and adjusted for inflation!
SALT deduction cap increased (with phaseouts for higher incomes).
If you're 50+ and a higher earner, catch-up contributions to retirement plans must now go to Roth (after-tax).
Clarity is nice, but smart planning is even better. A lot of folks wait until the end of the year and miss chances to:
• Lock in asset growth freezes (like GRATs, IDGTs, or low-rate loans).
• Get the most out of the new SALT + PTE options.
• Fine-tune Roth conversions, charitable giving, and income strategies for bigger after-tax savings.
Acting early in 2026 really pays off. Values are fresh, and the rules are set.

Grateful for all of you who stay ahead of the game. 🙌
