Remember:
If your grandchild was born after January 1, 2025, you can't claim that $1,000 federal contribution unless they’re your dependent.

And for those born before then? 🤔 If they have a parent or guardian, you can’t set up the account either! Stay informed and cautious!

When a grandparent opens a Trump Account, they must certify under penalty of perjury that they're authorized and that no one with higher priority is available to make the election.

But watch out! 🛑 Form 4547 only requires them to declare their best knowledge about the form's accuracy—no warnings about potential higher-priority individuals!
