How $3 changed my life forever!
Facing 6 years in prison, working 2 full time minimum wage jobs, going to school in between to try and finish my high school degree
I had really fu**ed up my life up to that point... I made all the mistakes 🤣 not just some
I couldn't afford my bills let alone get food, and I couldn't get a better job because no one would hire a felon without a high school degree
That's when I discovered personal development
I was in my garage cleaning up (I had nothing else to do because my electricity was shut off because I couldn't afford the bill)
As I cleaned i reflected upon my life with regret my heart was in my throat as I choked back the tears
I was a failure...
I had such big plans and I wasn't even able to afford the basics, I had promised my wife the world but could barely keep a roof over our heads
Tears in my eyes I saw a book in a drawer I was cleaning out
It was a book my dad had given a long time ago, but I had never read... it was Anthony Robbins "Awaken the Giant Within"
I started to read it... I don't know why
and it made sooo much sense I read it from cover to cover (the first book I actually read all the way through)
I did all the exercises and my life started to change, I felt better, I felt like I could make it happen still, a new sense of energy and excitement about life washed over me
I became an evangelist, I wanted to share what I was learning with the world... why had no one ever taught this stuff to me
I read thousands of books, went to seminars, hired coaches, and finally built my own community
And then I decided to go out and start my own business
I tried real estate, several MLM companies, affiliate marketing, a moving company, a landscape company, I sold phone cards, I did wholesale
Literally everything I could find to try and make additional income
It was great I felt better about life but still sucked to eat nothing but ramin
Then one day I sat down for about 8 hours and wrote a book... nothing big ot was 30ish pages on how I found motivated sellers for real estate
I put the book up for sale on Amazon and went to sleep
I woke up with $3
I was beyond excited! I had made money in my sleep!! I had passive income!!! 💪
All from taking what I knew and writing it down
Thats when I knew the knowledge industry was for me and that I could make this happen
Now I get to spend my days learning about the things I love and passing that information on to the people who need it
I get to help people every day and change lives and I get paid pretty well for it too
A few years ago I would not have believed I would be living the life I am today
I am so in love with my work its hard to take time off (I sneak away on vacations to do a little work haha)
And I no longer dread my days
