🚗 Insurance Myth Monday

“My car is paid off, so I should drop full coverage.”
Not necessarily.

Once the loan is gone, you may no longer be required to carry comprehensive and collision coverage — but that doesn’t automatically mean dropping it is the smartest move.

Ask yourself this instead: If your car were totaled tomorrow, could you comfortably afford to replace it?

The value of your vehicle, your deductible, the cost of coverage and what you could handle out of pocket all matter.

So, paid off = automatically drop full coverage?
Myth. The real answer: it depends.
