It is always exciting to wear new clothes or carry a different look. That was the exact same feeling we, at Zaphyr Technologies had when we recently upgraded to our newer 'web2.0' image.
On May 1st, 2010, we launched the new look and feel of Zaphyr Technologies at www.Zaphyr.net.
Prior to that our older web layout and design seemed a little more 'cramped' with maybe too much information. You can check that out at www.Zaphyr.net/OLD. We can't say how long that link is going to remain visible, but I'd like to leave that in there for comparison.
History:
Sometime in June of 2003, a couple of great minds sat together for lunch and discussed the idea of 'Enterprise Technologies on a Small Business Budget'. These "minds" were Enterprise Engineers and Project Managers who had been working at a Large VAR (Reseller) in Whippany, NJ and had been supporting Technology Platforms of Fortune 500 companies within the NY/NJ area.
They knew that the Technologies that gave Large Enterprise their advantage could easily be made available to Small Businesses without breaking their backs (or banks for that matter). Most Small Business Entrepreneurs just weren't aware of them; and most large VARs didn't want to spend time with the SMB market space.
The 'minds' thought that they should get together and bring about a mild revolution and be the 'winds of change: Zephyr'. Thus was born 'ZAPHYR' (rhymes with Sapphire), brining about a fresh breeze within the SMB space and teaching, sharing, informing Small Businesses that they too could act like the Big Boys when it came to Technology. In fact, Small Businesses need any advantage they can get to compete with the big boys.
Zaphyr Technologies, today, still stands with those same values; serving the SMB community with the latest and greatest there is.
We hope to keep doing that and better in the years to come. Please join us in celebrating our Fifth Year Anniversary (2005-2010) and pray with us that our resolve stay strong.
