What September & October looks like for Tax Accountants 💼

At Boyer 2 Accountants, we consider this time our “2nd tax season.”

Over the next two months, we focus our attention on finishing S-corp and Partnership Extensions, due on September 15, as well as Individual Extensions, due on October 15.

Moving makes your tax return more complex. 📑 🏠

Something Boyer 2 Accountants saw a lot of this tax season was clients moving from one to state to another.

These life changes are equally exciting and stressful! When you move, especially state-to-state, your return automatically becomes more tedious.

You will need to file a return in both your previous state of resident AND your new one.

If you self-prepare, you’ll want to ensure you are not OVER-taxing yourself or missing any credits.

Life changes like this can prompt individuals and families to invest in a tax professional to make sure it’s done correctly!
