Today, we are celebrating an incredible milestone — Sherri Mitchell’s 40-year anniversary with Northwestern Mutual!
We proudly celebrate Sherri Mitchell and her remarkable 40 years of dedication, leadership, and impact.
Through every season of life, Sherri has shown up with resilience, compassion, and unwavering commitment to her family, friends, and clients. Over the past four decades, she has built not only an extraordinary career, but a beautiful life alongside her husband, Michael. Together, over 33 years, they’ve created a lasting legacy rooted in love and commitment while raising their three children.
Within our organization, Sherri is a true trailblazer. As the first female partner of Mosaic and one of the few women in the industry when she started over 40 years ago, she has helped pave the way for generations of women in financial services.
In 2017, Sherri co-founded our firm’s first Diversity & Inclusion Council alongside Gina Pagen. As Co-President for six years, she helped foster a culture of belonging by championing initiatives that celebrated diversity, strengthened community involvement, and elevated the voices of those within our 092 office. During her leadership, the firm saw record recruitment of women and increased belonging scores—leaving a lasting impact on our culture.
Sherri’s influence extends far beyond the office. She has made a meaningful impact in her community through charitable involvement, including her time on the YMCA board, and through her passion for bringing others together—whether that’s in business or through her love of golf as part of the LPGA community, or playing in her free time - - where she’s had two hole-in-ones!
