As we wrap up National Volunteer Week, we’re proud to highlight another way AGHers give back to our community.

Recently, our team enjoyed supporting the Greater Wichita YMCA Bowl‑A‑Thon, an event that helps benefit more than 84,000 kids and adults through YMCA‑assisted services. 🎳

AGH Chief Executive Aron Dunn is a longtime supporter of the Greater Wichita YMCA, serving on its Board of Directors.

As we continue celebrating National Volunteer Week, we’re back with another highlight of the United Way of the Plains GIV Warehouse.

The GIV program creates meaningful connections between organizations with excess inventory and local nonprofits in need. With the support of dedicated volunteers, donated items are sorted, organized, and made available at no cost to agencies serving individuals and families throughout Kansas.

AGHers spend several days at the GIV Warehouse, helping ensure donated items are organized and ready to support local agencies. A special thank you to LeAnn Shalby for coordinating volunteers each year and helping make this effort possible.

In honor of National Volunteer Week, we’re proud to recognize AGHers who give their time and talents to causes they’re passionate about – both inside and outside of work. One of those team members is Nathan Shores.

⚽ Outside the office, Nate and his wife volunteer for Union KC Soccer Club's S.T.A.R.S. (Success Through Adapted Rec Soccer) program. S.T.A.R.S's goal is to make soccer accessible to all by pairing the expertise of Union KC coaches with that of special needs experts, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists and more – empowering every athlete, regardless of ability.

Members of AGH’s Organizational Development and Family Business Services team came together for a team-building workshop at Flying Pig Improv Wichita

The experience challenged the team to stay present and respond in the moment — reminders that are essential for leaders navigating change.
