A few observations from the last 100 years:

👗 Marilyn Monroe's $20 shopping trip now gets you about halfway through the front door of a department store.

☕ A nickel cup of coffee has become a $5 latte with a name nobody can pronounce.

It's easy to laugh, but it highlights an important reality: inflation has a way of quietly shrinking the buying power of our dollars.

That's why a long-term investment plan isn't just about growing money—it's about helping your money keep up with the world around it.
