Good Afternoon,

Given the urgency to stop this virus in it’s tracks and to keep our clients and employees healthy, we are implementing the following procedures and heeding the stay-at- home/ limited contact order issued by the Governor.

• We will be limiting staff in the office but we will always have at least one person in the office Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm to make sure we continue to move forward with all your tax needs.
• We are requesting all tax documents or requested items to be emailed or snail-mailed to our office at:

• If you are unable to email or mail your information, please email us a time or leave us a message at (910) 343-1150 and we will schedule a time we can meet you in front of the office building at your car.
• We will not be accepting appointments until the order is lifted.
• Please do not hesitate to call and leave a message by phone, but please note, since we may be working outside the office, an email may get a quicker response.
• We understand many of you will need copies of past returns, w-2’s, payroll journals, and updated financial statements to apply for the SBA loans, Unemployment and other programs. Please email these requests and we will be sure to get these to you as soon as possible.

We are 100% here for you in these trying times, and we will work to make sure you have everything you need! We thank your for your patience and your loyalty!

We hope all of you are staying safe and healthy during these crazy times. The Coronavirus was an unexpected shock to all of us. During difficult times like these, communication with our clients becomes even more important. We are fortunate thus far to have been able to continue to operate and are happy to be in a position to continue to support our clients. Some of our staff are working from home, but we qualify as essential employees and plan to continue to have someone at the office as long as we can.

Our office is still open to drop off your 2019 tax information and to pick up returns when notified they are completed. As many of you may know, the deadline to file individual returns and make payments has been extended to July 15, 2020. We advise all clients to get their tax information to us as soon as possible, regardless of the extended tax filing deadlines. As of today, amounts due to North Carolina will begin to incur interest on April 15, 2020. Please do not wait to send or drop off tax information.

Within the next week we will begin filing extensions for all individual tax returns. This will extend the time to file until October 15th, 2020. If you cannot provide us with all of your tax information for the year, please get us copies of all 2019 W-2 and 1099 forms as well as any estimated tax payments made towards the 2019 tax year. This information will allow us to report the correct amount of tax paid towards your 2019 taxes and will help us to determine if any additional Federal and State payment amounts need to be made to avoid any additional interest.

We also understand many of you are needing information to apply for assistance. Please email us items needed and we will do our best to get them to you in a timely manner.

Time to start putting your 2018 records in order!

January 15th
✴Last day to make estimated tax payments for 2018.

January 20th
✴Sales Tax is due for monthly filers.

January 31st
✴Quarterly Reports (941, 940,944, NCUI 101, NC-5, NC5) are due for 2018.
✴W-2's are due to employees.
✴1099's are due.
✴Sales tax is due for Quarterly filers.
✴Business personal property tax listings is due for 2019.
