A month of many firsts.

My first in-person appointment since having our son, my first Mother’s Day as a mom of two, my first time hosting my study group which is made up of other advisors across the East Coast.

I am so happy to be here. I am energized and grateful for each day that I get to work with and serve our clients. 

I am also eternally grateful to our team, holding it down while I was able to soak up the newborn snuggles with Baby Pearson .

Wow!

The Mets announced this week that fans traveling from Connecticut to Citi Field on select weekends this season will be able to take a ferry, instead of driving or using multiple trains.

The ferry service will operate out of Stamford for 24 games spread across the season. ⚾

Each ride will take approximately 75 minutes one way and cost voyagers $85 round-trip.

Often a struggle of head & heart!

We get it — it’s freezing outside and those big fluffy coats are tempting. But when it comes to car seats, bulky jackets and thick coats can actually put kids at risk.

Here’s why 👇
❄️ Puffy coats create extra space in the harness
❄️ In a crash, that padding compresses
❄️ Straps that felt “tight” suddenly aren’t

The safer move:
✔️ Buckle kids in snug without the bulky coat
✔️ Do the “pinch test” — no slack means you’re good
✔️ Then place the coat or a blanket over the harness

Cold kids = uncomfortable
Loose car seats = dangerous

Stay warm, stay safe, and make sure everyone arrives buckled up the right way. 🚓💙
