Established in 1997, Timonier is a multi-family office offering fee-only advice to high net worth families and corporate retirement plans with a collaborative team of seasoned advisors. Our staff embodies expertise and credentials in the areas of financial planning, investment management, estate planning, real estate, risk management, tax and accounting services. Our location of hire is Winston-Salem, NC. Currently, we are a professional staff of five that provides fiduciary services to over 150 families and five corporate 401k plans with over $350 million in assets under management.
Job Description:
Timonier, Wealth Beyond Financial is currently looking for a qualified CPA or EA designated professional to assist our current Tax Director in a non-traditional public accounting role to assist in the preparation and filing of business, individual, trust, 501(c)3, and gift tax returns and bookkeeping services.
Our practice is a privately owned business with a work-family culture. We are looking for our next long-term team member to service our Tax Department line of business by providing proactive tax planning services, tax return preparation, client review, and filing. We are first interested in a colleague possessing strong written and oral skills, a professional demeanor, and an entrepreneurial spirit. We are a small, tight-knit, group and work as a team for our clients and our next team member will also have to be philosophically aligned with their integrity, ethics, loyalty, comradery, compassion.
Job Qualifications
Our candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field who has at least experienced one busy season of tax preparation. He or she is expected to have a CPA or EA credential and proficient knowledge of tax preparation and tax software, as well as strong bookkeeping skills and knowledge of and/or experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, CCH Axcess, Bill.com, Gusto, Microsoft Excel, and Canopy. This role is not required or expected to bring in new business, only to service the current Timonier client base.
