We’re honored to be recognized as one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in Los Angeles by the LA Business Journal and Workforce Research Group.

At Grobstein Teeple, we’ve always believed that great work starts with great people. This recognition reflects the culture we’ve built together, one that encourages collaboration, supports growth, embraces flexibility, and empowers our team to make a meaningful impact.

Our team members are the reason we continue to move businesses forward. Their expertise, dedication, and commitment to clients are what make GT more than a workplace, they make it a place where careers grow, ideas thrive, and opportunities turn into action.

We’re also grateful to our clients for the trust they place in us every day. Their partnership challenges us to think bigger, work smarter, and deliver meaningful results, making them an important part of the culture and purpose that drive our team forward.

To our incredible team: thank you for bringing your talent, energy, and passion to everything you do. This recognition belongs to you.

As we look ahead, we’ll continue investing in our people, strengthening our culture, and helping our clients and our team reach what’s next.

Because when great people come together to do meaningful work, it’s more than a moment to celebrate.

It’s go time.

Staying alive in this tournament means not standing still, and the same is true for your defenses. Every “update available” your team clicks away is a door left ajar. A lot of cyberattacks don’t take genius, just patience and a known weakness in software nobody bothered to update. Turn on automatic updates, keep every device and app current, and treat a pending update on a work machine as a job to finish, not a nag to dismiss.

It’s one of 10 cybersecurity red cards we put together for businesses this World Cup.

No team gets this far on talent alone. Behind every result is a coach who saw it coming and a backroom team watching every angle, people whose whole job is to spot the threat before it lands. Your business deserves the same. The real question for you is simple: Who is in your corner? Who is watching your back while you focus on the game in front of you?

Our Head of Cybersecurity, Erik Rasmussen, spent more than twenty years on the right side of this fight. That is the corner we stand in for LA businesses.

Most businesses file their taxes. Far fewer actually plan them. And that gap is where real money gets left on the table.

Waiting until the deadline puts you in reaction mode, scrambling to report what already happened instead of shaping what comes next. A proactive tax strategy flips that. It surfaces the deductions, credits, and opportunities while you can still act on them, so you keep more of what you earn and skip the year-end stress.

If you’re ready to move from reactive to strategic, send us a message.

It’s go time.

You don’t reach the knockouts by leaving things to chance. Winning teams cover every detail, drill the basics, and give the other side nothing to exploit. That is what winning feels like in business too: everything checked, everything locked down, nothing left open for someone to take advantage of. The buzz of a big result on the field is the same quiet confidence you get when your business is genuinely secure.

That feeling is what our 10 World Cup cybersecurity red cards are built to give LA businesses.

The cyber risk that comes with a big event doesn’t go home when your team does. Visitors keep pouring through the region, schedules stay scrambled, and attackers keep feeding on the distraction right through the final. So keep your guard up: multi-factor authentication on, passwords unique, backups tested, and a plan for the day something goes wrong.

Our 10 cybersecurity red cards run the whole tournament and well past it.

Phishing didn’t stay in the inbox. The same trick now lands as a text about an unpaid toll or a parcel stuck behind a small fee, or a call from someone who sounds official and wants you to “verify” your account. The goal is always the same. Get you to hand over a credential or a card number before your brain catches up. So slow down. Treat any out-of-the-blue request for information or payment with suspicion, hang up, and call the company back using a number you found yourself.

That public USB port is handy. It can also be rigged. The trick has a name, juice jacking, and it uses a doctored port or cable to pull data off your phone or push malware onto it while it charges. The fix is almost embarrassingly simple. Carry your own wall plug and cable, or a small battery pack, and treat a strange USB port the way you’d treat a stranger’s laptop.

A weak password is an open net, the easiest goal an attacker will ever get.

The fix isn’t a sticky note with something more complex on it. It’s a password manager like 1Password or Bitwarden that builds and remembers a long, unique password for every account, so nobody on your team has to. Good cybersecurity for businesses really does start here, because a guessable password is the first door criminals try.

It’s one of 10 cybersecurity red cards for LA businesses this tournament.
