Your LinkedIn headline has one job:
Tell people why they should click your profile.
Too many professionals write:
❌ Seeking New Opportunities
That tells recruiters what you want.
Instead, tell them what you do and the value you bring.
For example:
✅ Operations Leader | Helping Teams Improve Efficiency & Reduce Costs
✅ Digital Marketing Specialist | Growing Brands Through Data-Driven Campaigns
✅ Financial Planner | Helping Families Build Retirement Income & Protect Their Wealth
A great headline answers three questions in seconds:
• Who are you?
• What do you do?
• Who do you help or what problem do you solve?
Recruiters spend only a few seconds deciding whether to learn more. Make those seconds count.
Remember:
People don't search LinkedIn for someone who's "looking."
They search for someone who solves problems.
Take five minutes today and rewrite your headline from the perspective of a hiring manager.
If they landed on your profile, would they immediately know where you belong?
