Just a remind the office will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. Also if you have a tax extension it runs out October 15th. So we need your stuff because that is only little over 5 weeks away. We are asking for your tax information by September 18th no later than September 23rd to guarantee it be ready in time, since we still have so many out. We can only do so many a day. Then if you are missing stuff you have to get that to us. If you late don’t forget the IRS doesn’t stay open all year they do close shortly after October 15th and will not reopen until January 2027 to E-File. We appreciate all our clients. So there seems to be some confusion on the Trump account sign ups. Some are saying they are receiving texts instead of a packet in the mail. Our initial information we received was that packets would be sent out in July. If you received a text, I would be cautious on clicking a link. You can visit the Trumpaccounts.gov website for more info on the signups. The following message is what we found out regarding the texts. Hope this helps.

The office will be closing early tomorrow Thursday July 2nd, at 2pm. The office be closed Friday -Sunday July 3-5 and reopen Monday July 6th at 9am. Have a great 4th of July and be safe. Happy 250th America 🇺🇸

This Thursday May 22, 2026 we will close at 5pm and tomorrow Wednesday the 30th we close at 1pm. Please don’t forget we close during the week Monday-Wednesday at 1pm and we are closed on Fridays. Thank You! We will be close this coming Monday May 25th for Memorial Day!

If you receive a notice letter CP53E from the IRS stating that there was a banking issue and you need to update your info, DO NOT scan the QR code on the notice. We have recently learned that there are some fake letters being sent out. Some are legit notices and some are not. Go on line to IRS.GOV and create an ID.ME account. This will be your personal online IRS account. Any notices they have legitimately sent you will be on this account. I have attached a copy of the letter for your reference.

We will be open late on Thursday of this week for anyone who needs to drop off or pickup. We will be open from 9am- 7pm. If this late day doesn’t work for you, reach out and we can work something out. Our hours of 9-1 still apply for Monday-Wednesday. Thank you!

Just a reminder you only have 2 days left to file your tax return. We can help you at Liz’s Income Tax Office ar our new location 308 S Main Street Woodruff. We will be open Tuesday and Wednesday 9am-7pm to help you file an extension. If you have just W2s we probably can get then done before the deadline. Just reminder your federal returns are still due by April 15th while your state returns were automatically extended until October 15th.
