🚨 Pennsylvania LLC Owners – Important Update for 2025 🚨

Starting in 2025, PA is requiring all LLCs (domestic & foreign) to file an Annual Report every year. This replaces the old “once every 10 years” rule.

✅ What you need to know:

Deadline (LLCs): September 30 every year

Cost: $7 filing fee (nonprofits don’t pay)

What you’ll need: your business name & number, addresses, and one owner/manager’s info

💡 The state will give everyone a transition period — no penalties in 2025–2026 — but starting in 2027, missing the filing could cause your LLC to be dissolved.

Five Years Ago: The Day Everything Changed

- Hard to believe it’s been half a decade since that sudden shift to remote work.

I’ll never forget the moment we got the call: “Take your laptops home. We’re going fully remote.” Just days earlier, my company was strict about being in the office—if I needed even a little flexibility, I had to use PTO. Suddenly, remote work wasn’t just allowed; it was mandatory.

The transition was a whirlwind. Unease was in the air, bordering on panic. Would this be temporary? Could we really make it work? Meanwhile, at home, my soon-to-be 5-year-old son was stuck inside while both Mama and Dadda had to figure out how to work in a house that was never meant to be an office. I still smile (and cringe) at those memories—Zoom meetings with panicked owners and asset managers with the little one peeking in, makeshift workspaces in every corner, and long days where the lines between work, parenting, and life blurred into one.

But here’s what I’m proud of: We didn’t just focus inward. We checked in on our elderly neighbors, shared what we could, and reminded ourselves to breathe. It wasn’t easy, but we adapted with resilience, care, and a refusal to panic.

That time taught me so much—especially about the power of flexibility and commitment.
