AMR Tax & Accounting, LLC

AMR Tax & Accounting, LLC I partner with clients to assist them with and prepare taxes, bookkeeping, payroll, & consulting.

Let's clear something up for those looking for an accounting professional.

You do NOT need a CPA to handle your business taxes, fillings, or IRS representation. That belief is outdated and simply untrue.

Enrolled Agents (EA) are federally licensed tax experts, licensed by the IRS. We work with small businesses every day, preparing returns, advising on compliance, and representing clients before the IRS with the same unlimited rights as CPAs and attorneys.

Meanwhile, "CPA" does not automatically mean "tax professional." Many CPAs never touch small-business tax work. They may focus on auditing, corporate reporting, or consulting. The title doesn't guarantee hands-on experience with the issues that may come up with small businesses.

And yes, CPAs often charge more for the same tax work simply because the public assumes they're the only option. They're not.

If someone prefers a CPA, that's their choice. But that's not always the best choice.

Reminder for anyone looking for an accounting professional.

Don't stop at the first title you recognize. Talk to a few different professionals and find the one that actually fits your needs.
Not every CPA does taxes or deals with small businesses.
Not every bookkeeper handles payroll.
Not every tax preparer understands small-business operations.

Find out all services a professional offers. For me, I specialize in:

Small business accounting & bookkeeping
Payroll
Tax Preparation & Planning
Education - classes that empower business owners and a full,
comprehensive class on financial literacy for young people and
adults alike.

🌟Let's clear something up for those looking for an accounting professional.🌟

You do NOT need a CPA to handle your business, taxes, fillings, bookkeeping, or IRS representation. That belief is outdated and simply untrue.

Enrolled Agents (EA), like me, are federally licensed tax experts, licensed by the IRS.

The title doesn't guarantee hands-on experience with the issues that may come up with small businesses or individuals.

And yes, CPAs often charge more for the same tax work simply because the public assumes they're the only option. They're not. And they’re not always the best choice.

šŸ’”I encourage anyone looking for an accounting professional to do the following:šŸ’”

šŸ›‘Don't stop at the first title you recognize. Talk to a few different professionals and find the one that actually fits your needs.

šŸ’° Not every CPA does taxes or deals with small businesses.

šŸ’µ Not every bookkeeper handles payroll.

šŸ–„ļø Not every tax preparer understands small-business operations.

šŸ’”Find out all services a professional offers. For me, I specialize in:

Small business accounting & bookkeeping

Payroll

Tax Preparation & Planning

Education - classes that empower business owners and a full, comprehensive class on financial literacy for young people and
adults alike.

🌟My wish for all is for you to engage an accounting professional that understands your specific needs, communicates clearly, and gives you the space to focus on what YOU do best - running your business. 🌟

ā—ļøThe ā€œOne Big Beautiful Billā€ Just Passed—Here’s What It Means for Youā—ļø

Whether you’re single or married, with or without kids, and earning under $450,000, this bill will likely impact your 2025 return. Here’s what you need to know:

Key Tax Breaks (With Income Limits)

• Standard Deduction Increase• $15,750 for singles
• $31,500 for married couples filing jointly
• + $6,000 ā€œSenior Bonusā€ per person age 65+• Phases out between $75,000–$175,000 (single) and $150,000–$250,000 (joint)

• Child Tax Credit• $2,500 per child (2025–. 2028)
• Refundable up to $1,700
• Requires SSNs for both parent and child
• Phases out above $200,000 (single) / $400,000 (joint)

• SALT Deduction Cap Raised• From $10,000 to $40,000
• Phases out above $500,000 income

• Auto Loan Interest Deduction• Up to $10,000/year for U.S.-assembled vehicles
• Phases out between $100,000–$150,000 (single) / $200,000–$250,000 (joint)

• No Federal Tax on Tips & Overtime (Through 2028)• Deduct up to $25,000 in tips and $12,500 in overtime
• Phases out above $150,000 (single) / $300,000 (joint)

• ā€¼ļøJust because the IRS isn’t taxing it doesn’t mean your state won’t. Many states still tax tip income—check your local rulesā€¼ļø

Potential Drawbacks

• Low-Income Households May See Less Benefit• Many credits are nonrefundable or limited by income thresholds.

• Student Loan Changes• Forgiveness programs like SAVE are being phased out.
• New caps on Parent PLUS and undergraduate loans.

• Clean Energy Credits Shrinking• EV and solar credits begin phasing out after 2025.

• Itemized Deduction Caps• High earners may see reduced value from itemizing due to new limits.

Bottom Line:

If your income is under $450,000, there’s a lot to like—but the fine print matters. Some benefits phase out quickly, and others don’t apply at the state level.
