Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio's Project Playhouse is one of those special events that reminds us just how much good can happen when a community comes together.

We were fortunate to have a dedicated team helping bring this year's playhouse to life. A special thank you to Ashley Moyer Interior Design, along with Mark and Kim Moyer, for the countless hours spent planning, organizing, and preparing for the project.

We also want to recognize the Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio team, whose careful planning and coordination made it possible to transform a pile of boards and nails into a beautifully finished playhouse in just one day.

Together, Project Playhouse raised $50,000 to support Habitat's mission. And that mission goes far beyond playhouses. Habitat works to help families achieve affordable homeownership, build stability, and create brighter futures. At its heart, Habitat isn't just building houses. It's building hope.

Our Moyer Group Wealth Management team was honored to play a small part in the project.
But the real highlight came at the end.

When one of the girls finally got to see her new playhouse, all of the planning and hard work came to life. She quickly began serving ice cream to the volunteers from her new ice cream parlor and was talking about showing everything to her little sister later.

Seeing her face light up was the true reward for everyone involved and the cherry on top of an unforgettable day.
Days like this remind us how fortunate we are to live in a community where people are always willing to come together to help others!

Continuing education is important to our team, and Beau recently had the opportunity to attend the 2026 NARO East Convention (National Association of Royalty Owners).

During the convention, Beau learned from industry experts and attended educational sessions focused on oil, gas, and minerals management. The experience provided valuable insights into the unique opportunities and challenges that mineral and royalty owners face.

One of Beau's biggest takeaways was the importance of working with trusted professionals who understand the complexities of this area. Whether it's an attorney, CPA, mineral appraiser, wealth manager, or another specialized professional, having the right team of experts can make all the difference.

We are grateful for opportunities like these that allow us to continue learning and growing so we can better serve our clients. Beau is excited to bring this knowledge back to our team and be an even stronger resource for individuals and families navigating mineral and royalty ownership.

We were proud to support and attend the Women - A Force in Business Networking Event and celebrate the remarkable women who are making an impact across the Berkeley County business community.

As co-chairs of this year's event, we were excited to partner with Bayer HFCU to help bring together an afternoon filled with meaningful networking, professional development, and encouragement. We were inspired by Dr. Sarah Minter of Novant Health, whose message on prioritizing mental and physical well-being while supporting those around us resonated with everyone in attendance.

This event would not have been possible without the support of our incredible partners and sponsors. A special thank you to Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, Novant Health, Swamp Fox Agency, DoubleTree Summerville Nexton, and Tatted & Tart for helping make the day such a success.
