A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is a great option if you want to provide immediate support to charities you’re already familiar with. On the other hand, a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is ideal if you’d like to make a contribution now but take your time deciding when and where to distribute the grants.
