Vừa qua, Grant Thornton Việt Nam đã có dịp đón tiếp các bạn sinh viên thuộc chương trình Kiểm toán tích hợp ICAEW Vietnam của IUH - Trường Đại học Công nghiệp TP.HCM đến tham quan và giao lưu định hướng nghề nghiệp tại văn phòng TP. Hồ Chí Minh.

Recently, Grant Thornton Vietnam welcomed students from the ICAEW VietnamIntegrated Audit program at the IUH - Trường Đại học Công nghiệp TP.HCM for a career-focused visit and interactive session at Ho Chi Minh City Office.

As part of the program, the students gained the opportunity to learn about the working environment, corporate culture, services, and career development opportunities at Grant Thornton Vietnam. Ms Dao Van Trang, Tax Services Manager, delivered an insightful presentation on the topic "Future Career Path", providing the students with practical perspectives for their upcoming professional journeys.

Career orientation is not merely a conversation about the future but it begins with real-world connections and meaningful sharing. Grant Thornton Vietnam was honoured to be part of the "Future Pathways: Career Program for Youth" seminar, co-organised by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the National Economics University (NEU).

The seminar centred on the importance of career guidance at the secondary school level, in alignment with the spirit of Circular No. 16/2026/TT-BGDĐT. At the event, Ms. Dinh Thi Huong Giang, Director of Advisory Services at Grant Thornton Vietnam, shared practical perspectives drawn from her dual role, as a business professional with extensive experience working alongside young talent, and as a parent accompanying her own children through this pivotal stage of future planning.

Drawing from her professional experience and years of engagement with young professionals, Ms. Giang highlighted that academic results and technical knowledge alone are not the only factors that set candidates apart. Proactive thinking, adaptability and a clear sense of career direction are equally important foundations that better prepare young people for the realities of the workplace.

Recently, "athletes" of Grant Thornton Vietnam participated in the Pickleball Tournament organised by the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham). With a vibrant sportsmanship, our players delivered exciting matches and enjoyed meaningful networking opportunities with other members in the BritCham network.

More than just a tournament, this was an occasion for businesses in the BritCham community to connect, share team spirit, and spread a dynamic lifestyle. Đồng hành cùng các hoạt động kết nối giữa doanh nghiệp và nhà trường, Grant Thornton Việt Nam đã có buổi đón tiếp giảng viên và các bạn sinh viên từ UEF - Đại học Kinh tế Tài chính TP.HCM đến giao lưu và tham quan tại văn phòng TP. Hồ Chí Minh.

Thông qua hoạt động này, các bạn sinh viên có cơ hội tham quan môi trường làm việc chuyên nghiệp, tìm hiểu thêm về văn hóa doanh nghiệp, các lĩnh vực dịch vụ cũng như lộ trình phát triển nghề nghiệp tại Grant Thornton Việt Nam. Anh Nguyễn Hoàng Tú, Phó phòng Dịch vụ giải pháp doanh nghiệp, đã tham gia chia sẻ những lời khuyên nghề nghiệp để thúc đẩy sự phát triển và định hướng tương lai cho các bạn sinh viên. As part of ongoing efforts to nurture connections between the business and academic institutions, Grant Thornton Vietnam recently welcomed lecturers and students from the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) for an exchange visit and office tour at our Ho Chi Minh City Office.

Throughout this activity, students had the opportunity to explore a professional working environment, learn about our corporate culture, service lines, and career development pathways at Grant Thornton Vietnam. Mr Nguyen Hoang Tu, Business Process Solutions Assistant Manager, joined the session to share career advice aimed at supporting students' professional development and future direction. We hope the visit not only provided practical and insightful perspectives but also inspired the UEF students on their journey ahead.

Vào những ngày giữa tháng 4, Grant Thornton Việt Nam hân hạnh chào đón đoàn sinh viên đến từ Khoa Tiếng Nhật, Trường Đại học Hà Nội (Hanoi University) tham quan văn phòng Hà Nội. Chuyến tham quan được thực hiện với sự hỗ trợ từ ông Hidero Kokubo, đại diện ABPV (Hiệp hội Xúc tiến Kế toán tại Việt Nam).

Thông qua các phần chia sẻ và giao lưu trực tiếp cùng đội ngũ chuyên môn gồm bà Hoàng Thị Liên, Trưởng phòng và bà Võ Thị Thơm, Phó phòng bộ phận Hỗ trợ khách hàng Nhật Bản; các bạn sinh viên đã có cơ hội hiểu rõ hơn về môi trường dịch vụ chuyên nghiệp, những kỹ năng cần thiết ở từng vị trí, cũng như các cơ hội và thách thức có thể gặp phải trong hành trình nghề nghiệp.

Chương trình bao gồm hoạt động tham quan văn phòng và giao lưu nhóm, giúp các bạn có cái nhìn gần gũi hơn về môi trường làm việc chuyên nghiệp và thân thiện tại Grant Thornton Việt Nam.

Chúng tôi hy vọng chuyến tham quan đã mang đến những góc nhìn thực tế và nguồn cảm hứng cho các bạn sinh viên trên chặng đường học tập và phát triển nghề nghiệp sắp tới.

In mid-April, Grant Thornton Vietnam was pleased to welcome a group of 40 students from the Faculty of Japanese Language, Foreign Trade University, to visit our Hanoi Office. The visit was made possible with the support of Mr Hidero Kokubo, representative of ABPV (Association for Bookkeeping Promotion in Vietnam).

Through sharing sessions and direct interactions with our professionals, including Ms Hoang Thi Lien, Manager and Ms Vo Thi Thom, Assistant Manager of Japanese Desk, the students gained a better understanding of the professional services environment, the skills required for different roles, as well as the opportunities and challenges young professionals may encounter in their career journeys.

The programme also included an office tour and group activities, giving the students a closer look at the professional and welcoming working environment at Grant Thornton Vietnam.

We hope the visit provided practical insights and inspiration for the students as they continue their academic and professional journeys.
