There are also growing numbers of jobs in small provinces such as Da Lat, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Bac Giang, and others. Some schools in these smaller cities can pay rates comparable to schools in bigger cities, even though the cost of living is lower. This is because it’s more difficult to find teachers willing to relocate to those cities. However, those who do are rewarded with a slower pace of life and a chance to better immerse themselves in REAL Vietnamese culture.

10 Tips for Teachers to become more effective :
1. Every student is different. They Possess different qualities, strengths, and weaknesses.
2. There are different teaching and learning styles for different types of students.
3. Use examples that students can relate to in trying to get them to understand what you teach them.
4. Help students to form positive habits.

Teaching in public school: Some things you should know about it before go for it!
Class sizes are most often bigger than at English centers, around 25-40 students depending on the campus, which some teachers consider a down side, although with experience and classroom management techniques the bigger class sizes are manageable. Facilities and equipment may not be as modern as they will be at many English centers but this is changing as more money is being spent on public education in Vietnam
Full time teachers usually teach 15 - 25 hours per week with one of the benefits over English centers being that lesson planning time over and above those hours is usually less than at English centers, because less content needs to be covered in each lesson.
