Founded in January 2013 by Nathi Thela, IMAS was born out of a vision to provide comprehensive full-time tuition for the CIMA syllabus, primarily catering to post-matric students. Our journey began with a deep commitment to the National Development Plan (NDP), which champions greater access to education for South Africa's yout

h. Simultaneously, we recognized the pressing need to bridge the gap in capacity within public higher education institutions. IMAS has joined forces with CIMA to offer full-time tuition, making it possible for students across South Africa to pursue the CIMA syllabus on a full-time basis.

The Institute of Management Accounting and Strategy (IMAS) extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the graduates and newly designated Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMAs) who were recognised at the recent CIMA Southern Africa Convocation held in Johannesburg.

For us at IMAS, the convocation was particularly special as it provided an opportunity to witness many of our current and former students walk across the stage and receive recognition for years of hard work and sacrifice.
