Just arrived home from my first ever Ramadaan business function, which included the breaking of our day’s fast with an array of delectable treats, prepared by my baby sister, Gadija Adhikarie and then followed by the Magrib prayer.
Also had the pleasure of productive meeting with Hollard Life (Affluent) Regional Manager, Reza, his superior Steve, Steve’s superior, Vicus and my superstar-senior underwriter, Joey. Yes, we don’t use surnames and Gadija is not really my true sister, but she could just as easily have been 😁.
Tonight was the official opening of HOLLARD’s brand new Regional offices in Century City. So now that Reza has cut the ribbon, they’re open for business and ready to kick ass!
One of my highlights tonight was spending time with my favourite chef in the whole world, Jenni Morris, who is without doubt one of this country’s greatest cooking superstars. I watch all her cooking shows on TV and I have a sneaky feeling that we are going to be spending more time with Jenni.
