Employers, don’t leave your interim reconciliation until the last minute.

The EMP501 interim reconciliation covers the period 1 March to 31 August 2026 and must be submitted to SARS by 31 October.

Before submitting, make sure your payroll information, PAYE, UIF and SDL figures, payments and employee tax certificates are accurate and reconciled.

Late submission can result in administrative penalties, so make this deadline a priority.
