I never seem to look deeply into those close to me, especially when it comes to financial planning, but seeing the impact and joy that it brings to many families as we practice, the difference that we make as advisors or planners, the hope that we bring to those who have lost loved ones regardless of race, sometimes I feel so privileged because of the exposure that the companies that we work for give us, the type of clients that we get to engage with across the race, but what really touched home was seeing how many of our people out there are still not exposed to competent financial advisors/planners/wealth managers, that really hit home, how our people don't even understand contracts that they get to sign and only realize later, that really hit home.
You can use everyone but make sure you understand everything about the contact.
If you are not fluent in a particular language, ask for someone who understand your language or native tongue, but at the same time look for someone who is able to provide you with appropriate guidance(quality advice and recommendations ).

Let's make money, guys.

2022 is all about self-love, it’s all about progress in life and understanding what the true meaning of progress is, it’s all about reaching our goals, about prioritizing the greatest important things in life. It is about maturity and further thinking out of the box, less noisy and more work, about fulfilling our dreams, less criticism or none, about empowering ourselves with the right knowledge.

We should be able to travel the world only because we managed to budget for that, not utilizing credit cards.

We value the importance of liquid assets.

In 2022 we must consume healthy coffee full of some great taste of aroma.
1- We need to understand what they mean when they say save
up for your retirement and life insurance early in life,
2- Save up for Investment
3- Save up for our kids’ education fees in time.
4- Have your will and testament in place or trust.
5- 2022 we need to understand the power of compound interest.
6- We need to understand the actual meaning of legacy or
should I say leaving a legacy behind
7- In 2022 we consult, ask questions where we don’t understand,
8- Crucial one is understanding our own pay slip.
9- We invest in appreciable assets and less in depreciable assets,
e.g., a house in a good location, etc.

In 2022 we buy a car only because it’s a need and not because of showing off, we really can’t be spending 60% of our retirement nor investment on a car that is not yielding any return.

We buy shares if we can afford to, and further we understand the fine line in between the regulations.
We began to understand our own investments policies

We make use of qualified individuals to lead us to a financial freedom, one who can utilize our South African or international tax to our own advantage, the legal way

We reduce unnecessary spending and begin to blossom our retirement and investment.
In 2022 we should strive to increase our savings and reduce our spending .

Before taking up investments it will be of benefit to you if your financial advisor can be able to advise you on the past trend results of that specific product before investing. I know it’s not a true reflection of the future, but that can give you a much better predictions about that chosen product.

Hey family, just a quick one.

What do you think about investment in general, based on your experience is it a good thing or bad thing? And why?

Hey family

My focus for the week is about having a proper life cover package (life cover/income protection etc., just to name the few) and lets not confuse that with only life cover.

We are living in terrible times, amid a pandemic.

Festive has already started to some and to others its yet to begin, all what I am saying is that let’s spend our hard-earned money wisely, let’s not forget about a dry January and February as well.

It is always wise to factor in our investment expenses into our December budget before spending our money. If our budget does not allow that luxurious festive then lets rather downscale to something much smaller or that is within our normal range and perhaps start early to plan for next year.

1- We all want our kids to have a better life, therefore let’s think about ways to save for that while they are still young.

As we are mostly breadwinners to our beloved family, meaning our kids depend on us, let’s make wise decisions, let’s start thinking about leaving a legacy behind for our kids,

2- Set up a very strong life cover package that will benefit us and our family while we are still fit and healthy
The result can be this.

3- Let us find a way to strategize our tax (and not tax evasion)/legally.

We leave the past, we bury them and now it is all about the future, let us pave the way and start thinking about leaving a good legacy for our beloved family.
Good people if this appeals to you, please give me a shout, it’s never too late to act now while we are still fit and healthy than to leave it for later.

Speak to a qualified financial planner/advisor who is financially sound, backed by both financial qualifications and practical experience.
