All employers must submit their EMP501 Employer Reconciliation to South African Revenue Service twice a year.

📅 Key Deadlines:

Annual Period (Mar – Feb): Due 31 May
Interim Period (Mar – Aug): Due 31 October

👉 For the current cycle:

Annual EMP501 (2025/2026 tax year):
Submission window is 1 April 2026 – 31 May 2026

⚠️ Why it matters:

- Ensures your EMP201 declarations match payments and IRP5s
- Avoids penalties and interest for late or incorrect submissions
- Enables employees to file accurate tax returns
