The Department of Small Business Development is hosting a stakeholder workshop on the Revised Business Licensing Bill, 2026 under the theme: “Modern, Proportionate and Simplified Business Licensing.”

The workshop forms part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to engage stakeholders on the proposed legislation aimed at creating a simplified, inclusive, and effective business licensing framework for South Africa.

The engagement will take place on 02 June 2026 at Danie Van Zyl Hall in Newlands, Randburg, Gauteng Province.

Stakeholders are encouraged to submit their comments and inputs on the revised Bill via email to [email protected] by 02 June 2026.
