Protecting our kids from the things that aim to harm them comes natural to most. The threats are plentiful and we are ever watchful to keep them from falling victim to them. We guard them with our hearts, our minds and all the strength in our backs but even that can sometimes not be enough.

How do you fight something that targets their future. Accidents and unforeseen circumstances because they did not target your children, they targeted you, their parents. If there is no you, the future shines a little less bright.

Take a look in the mirror and not the next cubicle.

How easy it is to look for and blame external factors for your place in life and the fact that you're not progressing. Life is harsh, some of us were dealt a bad hand while others was born with a royal flush neatly stacked in their favor.
There is always someone who is worse off than you. If you want change. Create it. Nothing new comes to those who persists with the same methodology.

This is a great read for all those who wants to move forward and are willing to make the agonizing changes to get there.

What you don’t do is just as important as your actions.

As a man that was raised by a single mother and brought up along side 2 sisters I know first hand how strong women can be.
They take the challenges of life head on and although they might struggle and get knocked down at times, they will always get back up and persevere.

They are a helping hand when the night is darkest.
They are a caring touch when the world brings only pain.
They are the support that helps carry the weight of the world and they are the joy that awaits at the end of a long day.
They are that benchmark that you want to reach.
They are the care takers of the world and an unstoppable force in all they do.
They are jaw dropping resilience.

To all the mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, grandmas, lovers and everything in between, enjoy this day, for it is yours.
