Saving for retirement should be calculated by establishing your personal need.

You might already belong to a Provident/Pension Fund but there will possibly still be a shortfall.

Your goal should be to get to at least 75% of you current income to ensure that you can continue with your normal lifestyle. In most cases people need to cut back when they go on retirement and cannot live the life that they are used to.

It is unnecessary and by doing proper planning you can have the best years when you stop working.
