📢 TRUST FILING SEASON 2026 IS HERE!

Trustees and trust representatives — it’s time to get ready. SARS has enhanced the ITR12T process, making accurate reporting and full disclosure more important than ever.

📅 Important dates:
🔴 ITR12T Filing Season opens: 19 September 2026
🔴 IT3(t) deadline: 30 September 2026
🔴 ITR12T deadline: 22 January 2027

This applies to registered resident trusts and qualifying non-resident trusts, including passive and dormant trusts.

⚠️ SARS will be paying particular attention to compliance, including nil returns and assessed-loss positions, while trust assets, income, expenditure and liabilities still need to be properly disclosed.
