There are three types of income:

Active Income (if you have a job and you receive a paycheck)

Portfolio Income ( investments such as royalties, dividends, interest and capital gains)

Passive Income ( Rented property or any other business that you are not involved)

There are 7 streams of income:

1. Earned Income (Primary Income derived from a job or employment)

2. Interest Income ( generated from a savings or investment account)

3. Profit Income ( Business, Gigs, Side Hustle)

4. Dividends Income ( dividend paying shares/stock, mutual funds, REITs)

5. Rental Income ( derived from leasing and renting out property)

6. Royalty Income ( licensing copyright work photography, written content, author, music, art)

7. Capital Gains ( sales of an asset such as stocks, mutual funds and property)
