RAM, together with Agape Church and the Eagles Nest Foundation Learning Centre, is backing 20 learners with disabilities through a one-year entrepreneurship programme.

For many people with disabilities, conventional employment is the barrier. This programme bets on entrepreneurship instead, businesses they own, built to last well beyond the year.

Over the year, participants build practical business skills and get access to a computer centre and library through Eagles Nest, finishing with a certificate and a business of their own.

RAM's Natiesha Karim calls it a “Pay it forward project.”
When these 20 finish, they'll inspire others in their communities to build something of their own.

Grabouw is one of many. RAM is running this programme in communities across South Africa.
