If you're one of the taxpayers selected for an auto assessment this year, don't assume everything is correct.

Before you accept it, take a few minutes to check:
✔ Are your banking details up to date?
✔ Is all your income reflected correctly?
✔ Have all eligible deductions been included?
✔ Are your personal details still accurate?

Remember, an auto assessment is based on the information SARS has available. If anything is missing or incorrect, you may need to update your return before accepting it.
