Provisional Tax submissions are due today, 31 August 2026, with our submission cut-off at 18:00.

Who may need to submit?

• Self-employed individuals and business owners
• Individuals earning income not fully taxed through PAYE
• Individuals earning taxable rental, investment or other income
• Companies and trusts where applicable

What happens if you don’t submit or pay on time?

• Late submission penalties may apply
• Interest may be charged on outstanding tax
• Underestimation penalties may apply in certain circumstances
• Your SARS compliance may be affected

If you still need to submit your provisional tax return, don’t leave it until the last minute.
