We're hiring someone who speaks fluent spreadsheet and dashboard.

Acredo Consulting is looking for a Business Systems & Insights Analyst to join our team in Paarl and Centurion.

You know that person in every organisation who somehow makes the data make sense? Who turns a Karbon workspace from chaos into calm? Who can smell an inefficient workflow from three departments away? That's who we need.

What you'll actually be doing:
● Building Power BI dashboards that people genuinely want to look at.
● Making Karbon work the way it's supposed to.
● Untangling how our systems talk to each other (or don't, yet).
● Writing SOPs that humans can follow without a translator.
● Training the team on the tools you've just made brilliant.

You're a good fit if you:
● Have 3 to 7 years under your belt in business analysis, Power BI or systems work
● Think in process maps and get a small thrill from a well-built workflow
● Know your way around advanced Excel, data modelling and Microsoft 365
● Have touched Karbon, Xero/XPM, Power Automate or SQL (bonus points, not dealbreakers)
● Enjoy explaining things clearly more than you enjoy being the only one who understands them
● Ideally hold a BCom in Information Systems, or are working towards a PL-300, CBAP or Lean Six Sigma qualification

Professional services experience is a strong plus, since you'll be helping streamline the systems behind real accounting, tax and advisory work, not just theoretical processes in a slide deck.

If you have a non-compliant trust, even if it is inactive, please speak to us. SARS has taken a zero-tolerance approach to trust compliance, increasing scrutiny of trust administration and automatically applying ongoing penalties and interest that can rapidly accumulate.

“Trustees are reminded that compliance is mandatory, and non-compliance can result in fines and penalties.” (SARS)

SARS has significantly increased its scrutiny of trust administration. What’s more, from the beginning of May 2026, automated administrative penalties apply to all non-compliant trusts – without exception.

Whether a trust is active or dormant, the trustees have a legal obligation to comply with SARS requirements, and the consequences of failing to do so are now immediate and ongoing.

Some of the best news in the 2026 Budget is the proposed increases in the compulsory VAT registration threshold from R1 million to R2.3 million and in the voluntary registration threshold from R50,000 to R120,000, with effect from 1 April 2026.

This will immediately ease the disproportionate administrative burden and compliance cost on small businesses which would have had to register soon. What’s more, VAT registered businesses may apply to deregister for VAT if they no longer exceed the increased compulsory registration threshold on 1 April 2026.

Deregistering for VAT can improve cash flow. But it’s a decision that should not be taken without consulting us, as it can trigger substantial adverse tax consequences that might well convince you not to deregister.
