Since December 2023, Inspired FMS, in partnership with Trivector has been privileged to contribute to the development of the draft Regulations on Minimum Business Processes and System Requirements for local government.

Led by our Director Kashnee Sewnarain Pillay as Project Lead, this milestone reflects months of dedication, collaboration, and hard work — alongside municipalities, system providers, and key stakeholders across the sector.

Behind this achievement are long nights, tough discussions, and a shared commitment to strengthening systems, processes, accountability, and transparency across municipalities.

A heartfelt thank you to Una Rautenbach and the National Treasury for the leadership, opportunity and trust, to the Regulations Team Mike Steyn, Silma Koekemoer, Sarah Dunman and Dawood Asmal for their tireless work and sacrifices, the mSCOA team for their support and to municipalities, municipal entities, and system providers for their invaluable engagement and contributions.

From the safe and comfortable transport (with professional drivers!) to the awesome activities and thoughtful goodie bags—everything was spot on!

We’re Hiring!

Inspired FMS is looking for a dynamic and motivated Office Admin / Junior Consultant to join our growing team. If you have public sector experience and are passionate about contributing to meaningful change, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day office operations and provide administrative assistance

Assist with consulting projects related to public sector clients

Collaborate with senior consultants on process improvement and public sector marketing strategy

Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents for clients

Coordinate meetings and maintain client relationships

Qualifications:

Public sector experience (essential)

Degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of financial and administrative processes within the public sector is a plus

A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
