Starting over
is not as clear as it seems.

It’s not turning the page with a smile.
It’s not waking up healed.
It’s not forgetting what hurt.

Starting over is quieter than that.

It’s one day…
when you notice
it hurts a little less than yesterday.

That’s how it begins.

Not as a moment,
but as many small returns.

Laughing again.
Letting yourself feel again.

Life does this.

It breaks you.
It brings you down.

And then, slowly, without warning,
it begins to place you
back on your feet.

Never the same.

Those who go through
what you went through
don’t come back whole.

They come back different.

Quieter.
More aware.
Knowing things they didn’t know before.

There is a quiet beauty
in being rebuilt slowly.

There are scars…
but there is also a wisdom
that only pain can teach.

So if you are in the middle
of starting over…

go gently.

You don’t have to rush.
You don’t have to look okay.
You don’t have to be anything
beyond yourself.

One day at a time.
One coffee at a time.
One Sunday at a time.

Life teaches in its own time.

And without noticing…
you will be standing again…
