Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant at Baza Corporate Services, located in the City of Johannesburg. The Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks such as processing financial transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additional responsibilities include budgeting support, audit preparations, and maintaining accurate records of financial documentation.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge and skills in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
Familiarity with tax compliance, auditing principles, and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, MS Excel, and other financial systems.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Team player with the ability to collaborate in a professional office environment.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in a similar role is an advantage but recent graduates with relevant training will also be considered.
