Today we celebrate “FINWRITE DAY”!!!

But today we also celebrate a year where we overcame challenges, made positive changes, but also bid a sad farewell to loved-ones and colleagues:

• Firstly we commemorate our founding member Tannie Marietjie McIntoch (18 Nov 1940 to 28 Jul 2017), we still appreciate the foundation that she laid so many years ago.

• We celebrate moving into our new premises at 39 Maluti Avenue, Vaalpark on 26 April 2025, 13 years after opening our very first commercial office at Tharina Centre in Vaalpark. This year FinWrite was privileged to purchase a property for office use.

• We then bid a sad farewell to Denise Lambrechts, our dear colleague and friend, who retired end of April 2025. She also became a grandmother! We are also grateful that she still assists the FinWrite Team from time to time, with her years of expertise in the Labour industry.

• We also welcomed a new Team Member, Elbie Fleming, who now heads the Human Resources Department, dealing with labour matters and payrolls in an extremely difficult labour environment. We are so blessed to have her as part of our team.

• We celebrate Sandra Stander, who has now been with our team for just over 2x years, who heads our Secretarial Department, making life a lot easier for our clients and our team, in the ever-changing CIPC/Registrations environment.

• We are grateful for Sammy, who keeps a smile on our clients faces. She also continues to renew and update our filing systems and she's also responsible for maintaining the data-capture and client bookkeeping. Excellent customer service, and proper admin is the critical foundation on which any business is run.

• We are grateful for Lisinda, who heads our bookkeeping division from her home-based office, and is a silent pillar of our team and a founding member of the FinWrite brand.

• We are also blessed to have solid leadership under founding member Dries van As and his right-hand Josua van As. Steering the team in the right direction and maintaining course for a bright future in a sometimes uncertain economic climate.

• The Van As Family, said a sad goodbye to our mother, Margie van As (13 Oct 1952 - 3 Jun 2025), we miss her every day!

But none of the above would be possible without giving all the glory to God, since FinWrite is a company and a team standing on Christ as our solid Foundation!

And last but not least, a huge thank you to our clients, for your continued support and for being part of the FinWrite Family. We are privileged to present and serve you in the ever-changing financial sector of South-Africa and even abroad.

Here’s to the future… we may not know what the future holds, but we have faith in Him that holds it!
