PAX TIP: Your salary isn’t necessarily your only taxable income!

When completing your South African tax return, remember that SARS may require you to declare other sources of taxable income too.

This could include things like:
💰 Rental income
💰 Interest and investment income
💰 Freelance or side-hustle income
💰 Commission or additional work income
💰 Certain foreign income
💰 Other income not already reflected on your IRP5

The important part? Don’t assume that because it isn’t on your IRP5, SARS doesn’t need to know about it.
