Kunokhar Chartered Accountants and Tax Practitioners (Pty) Ltd ("Kunokhar CTP") is an accounting, tax and advisory medium sized and dynamic firm carefully and strategically situated in Mthatha, in the friendly province of the Eastern Cape.

Well, Kunokhar in partnership with FASSET under the "YES Programme" would like to offer suitably qualified candidates a "KUNOKHAR FASSET YES PROGRAMMME" for a period of 12 months. Candidates are not allowed to opt out until the end of 12 months. We need 30 candidates to work in our head office in Delville, Mthatha.
Requirements:
1. You must have your Matriculation Certificate
2. Graduated with a B Com qualification
3. Be able to stay for the duration of the contract
4. You must be coming from Mthatha and its surroundings. It should be easy for you to travel between Kunokhar CTP and your residential location.
5. You must have your laptop. Your laptop must be in a good working condition.
6. The selection is based on the student's ability to convince the interview panel.
7. Discipline as an accountant is not negotiable. Candidates are required to observe strict office disciplinary procedures and guidelines.
8. Dressing code is the most important tool of our office. It is expected that candidates that will participate in this programme come from various backgrounds, some of which are disadvantaged. Kunokhar CTP, as a result, have decided that the dressing code is the same for the participants. Black and white with a black tie for males. For females, black and white must be clearly distinguishable and should remain a professional dressing code.
9. Working hours are between 8am and 5pm. 8 not the time to arrive at the office but a time to start working. No working overtime is expected unless under clearly under extreme exceptions.
10. We work under a diverse technological background. It is advisable that candidates must possess a smart phone. This allows us to communicate efficiently among ourselves in the office.
11. Neatness and responsibility cannot be over emphasized. As an accountant you must be neat to gain attention, your work should follow suite to gain attraction. Your work is your responsibilty.
12. Deadlines are not negotiable.
13. Post graduate qualifications are not a requirement although they serve as an added advantage.

The last day of the application is 10 February 2020. The interviews and presentations will commence on the 15 Febraury 2020 for three days. Only short listed candidates will be interviewed and be allowed to make presentations. Interviews and presentations will be hosted at:

A schedule of interviews and presentations will be sent to all the shortlisted candidates before the date.
Topics that will be presented come from all walks of economic life and they do not necessary have to come from commerce. Our office is well equipped to handle any type of office presentation and all the modern equipment to ensure this requirement is available to the candidates. Each presentation must last for 30 minutes and will be followed by an interaction session of 15 minutes. This is an opportunity to showcase yourself!
A monthly stipend of R5,000 will be paid at the end of the month for a period of 12 months. This is a working environment situation and will have to be treated as such!
