For Christian Garcia Badillo, pursuing a career in accounting is about more than numbers. It’s about creating opportunities, supporting others, and making a meaningful impact.

As a first-generation college student and recipient of an OSCPA Educational Foundation scholarship, Christian is working toward completing his Master of Accounting degree, earning his CPA license, and beginning a career in public accounting.

Christian hopes to use his future career to support Oregon businesses and community organizations. He’s already making a difference through his involvement with the University of Oregon’s SAIL program, helping underrepresented students feel supported as they pursue their educational goals.

Outside of accounting, Christian enjoys traveling, working out, watching movies, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.
