Employee Spotlight: Rodney Deloe, President & Co-Founder of MFG Tax Services

Next up in our Employee Summer Spotlight Series is Rod! We asked him a few fun questions to help you get to know him a little better.

Turns out one of Rod's hidden talents is finding things, so if something goes missing, there's a good chance he can track it down. When he's not in the office, he's usually off exploring somewhere new.

What's Rod most proud of? His sons, hands down. When it comes to food, the answer is just as simple: wings are always at the top of the list.

He's also got a strong take on one important debate: a hot dog is, in fact, a sandwich.

Welcome to the spotlight, Rod! ๐ŸŽ‰

Employee Spotlight: Aiden Sarsfield, Client Service Associate.

Time to get to know Aiden a little better. His hidden talent? He speaks Russian, something that surprises just about everyone who meets him. On summer weekends, you'll usually find him out on the golf course or hitting the trails for a hike.

Ask Aiden about food and the answer is instant: enchiladas for life, Dutch apple pie always. As for what he's most proud of, it's simple: his family.

Now for the big question: is a hot dog a sandwich? Aiden says no, since a sandwich has two pieces of bread while a hot dog is just one piece, partially sliced open.

Welcome to the spotlight, Aiden!

Employee Spotlight: Christopher Musuneggi, President

We asked Christopher a few questions to help you get to know him a little better, and here's what he had to say.

If he could only eat one food for the rest of his life, he says pizza wins, since there are so many ways to make it. On the great hot dog debate, he's firmly in the "yes, it's a sandwich" camp, reasoning that meat between two pieces of bread fits the definition.

When he's not at MFG, Christopher spends his weekends unwinding at The Peak at Nemacolin.

One thing you'll always find on his desk? A stress ball.

Ask him what he's most proud of, though, and it's simple: the charitable giving we do.

Welcome to the spotlight, Christopher!

Employee Spotlight: Ean Livingood, Financial Advisor

We asked Ean a few questions to help you get to know him a little better, and he did not disappoint.

If he could only eat one food for the rest of his life? Shrimp, cooked every way imaginable (he'll point you to Forrest Gump for the full list). On the great hot dog debate, Ean says once it's on a bun, it's officially a sandwich, so consider the office divided.

A few more fun facts about Ean: he always keeps a picture of his kids on his desk. The best advice he's ever received is "be aggressive." He's proud of being self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Welcome to the spotlight, Ean!

Employee Spotlight: Trinity Barnes, Client Service Associate.

We asked Trinity a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Her hidden talent? Still a mystery, she admits she hasn't found it yet. When summer weekends roll around, you'll usually find her relaxing poolside with a good book.

A few more fun ones: she'd eat spaghetti and meatballs for the rest of her life if she had to pick one food. The best advice she's ever received? Don't let the little things consume you, take a moment to reflect, and then let it go. What she's most proud of is making her health and wellness a priority, staying active three to six days a week.

Now for the big question: is a hot dog a sandwich? Trinity says yes, technically, since it's meat between two pieces of bread.

Welcome to the spotlight, Trinity!

Employee Spotlight: Mary Grace Musuneggi, Chairman & CEO

This week, we're shining a spotlight on Mary Grace! We asked her a few fun questions to help us get to know her a little better beyond her role as Chairman & CEO.

From her love of storytelling to relaxing summer weekends spent on the deck, we're getting a glimpse of what she enjoys outside the office. Her dream vacation was a trip to Africa, and when it comes to pie, peach wins every time.

One thing is certain: she's most proud of her son, Christopher. Family photos also have a permanent place on her desk.

Her best piece of advice? "Stay Calm and Carry On" โ€” words she lives by.

As for the internet's favorite debate, Mary Grace has a clear answer: a hot dog is a sandwich, plain and simple.

Employee Spotlight! Meet Sammie, our Client Services Assistant!

We asked Sammie a few questions to help you get to know her a little better. Her hidden talent is baking, specifically jumbo cookies, so if there are treats in the office, there's a good chance she's behind them.

A few more fun ones: her favorite pie is banana cream, and her desk is never without photos of family and friends nearby. If she could only eat one food for the rest of her life, it would be hot dogs, so it's probably no surprise she has strong feelings on the great debate: a hot dog is a hot dog, not a sandwich!

On a more personal note, what she's most proud of is going back to school and earning her bachelor's degree while working full time, a huge accomplishment that speaks to her drive and determination.

Welcome to the spotlight, Sammie!

The IRS is making a big change to how individual taxpayers make federal tax payments and the deadline is closer than you think.

If you currently use EFTPS, new enrollments already stopped in October 2025. By late 2026, the system will be fully phased out for individuals. That means it's time to get familiar with your two replacement options: IRS Direct Pay and IRS Individual Online Accounts. The good news? Your replacement options are free, faster, and more secure.

To every small business owner out there, this one's for you. It takes courage to build a business. It takes the right team to protect one.

Here are 3 things every small business should have in place:

1. A proactive tax strategy, not just a tax preparer. There's a big difference between filing your taxes and planning them. The right tax strategy keeps more money in your business all year long.

2. The right insurance coverage. Liability, life, disability. The coverage that protects your business, your employees, and your family if the unexpected happens.

3. A long-term financial plan. Where is your business headed in 5, 10, 20 years? Having a plan for growth, retirement, and eventual transition means you're building something that truly lasts.

The MFG family of companies (MFG Insurance Services, MFG Tax Services, and The Musuneggi Financial Group, LLC) helps small business owners check all three boxes!
