🌟 Staff Spotlight 🌟

Meet Billie Ransbottom, Director of Operations for Wilmink Smith Cline Wealth Advisors, and our 2025 Team Member of the Year! 🏆💙

Billie started her career with Northwestern Mutual - West Virginia in 1990, when she began working for Christie Kinsey and Tom Wilmink, who she remains an employee of today. Over the past 36 years, she has played an integral role in the growth of the office, helping shape it into the thriving firm and team it is today.

From seeing the financial plans of families and individuals come to fruition to contributing to the growth of Wilmink Smith Cline's passionate team, Billie described her career as "incredibly rewarding." Throughout her career, she has served on and participated in multiple Home Office committees and pilot programs that have contributed to the development of company-wide initiatives. Additionally, in the early '90s, she was one of the first Associate Financial Representatives invited to serve on a staffing committee that provided insight to the Home Office on how AFRs work in the field.

Outside of the office, Billie enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her grandsons. She and her husband, Todd, love staying active and are always planning their next project or adventure. 🗺️

NMWV divided and conquered last week to put on another successful Backpack Project this year. 🎒💙

Between our Charleston, Morgantown, and Parkersburg offices, we filled 55 backpacks with shoes, headphones, water bottles, and other back-to-school essentials and delivered them to three organizations across the state, directly supporting West Virginia youth in foster and out-of-home care. This project isn’t just about donating supplies — it’s about reminding these kids that we believe in them. Thank you to everyone who continuously supports this special initiative!

From the Mountain State to the big stage... 🌟

We're proud to recognize Aadi Pawar for sharing his expertise on a national stage at Northwestern Mutual's Annual Meeting. His breakout session, "We are in a Client Building Business: Strategies for Continuous Growth, Client Acquisition & Practice Development," drew more than 3,000 attendees from around the country!

Aadi was also honored at the Forum Dinner, which celebrates top advisors whose dedication to clients and exceptional performance have distinguished them among their peers.
