Campbell Accounting Solutions is looking for a dependable, professional, and friendly person to join our team as a Receptionist/Front Desk team member.

This is a multipurpose position where you will wear many hats, so we are looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, helping others, and working as part of a team.

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Professional, friendly, and dependable attitude
• Comfortable answering phones and assisting clients
• Ability to learn and handle a variety of office responsibilities

Experience/Skills That Are a Plus:

• Knowledge of office phone systems
• Experience with copy machines, fax machines, and scanners
• Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic QuickBooks knowledge
• Previous accounting office or administrative experience

Office Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Lunch: 12:30–1:30 PM

Friday (Non-Tax Season): 8:30 AM–12:00 PM
Friday (Tax Season): 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

About a year ago, I saw a trunk decorated for Operation Christmas Child in the barber shop where Brayden gets his hair cut, The Chop Shop in Florence. I assumed they worked with Operation Christmas Child and Samaritan’s Purse, and I remember thinking how much I loved the trunk and the idea behind it.

Months later, when we decided to pursue Operation Christmas Child as a firm and community outreach, of course, I remembered that trunk.

So began my search for the perfect trunk. And yes… I know I was being picky! 😂 I was hoping to find one that was already painted because I had a vision in my head, and I thought a painted trunk would be easier.

Then, one random summer afternoon while Brayden and I were by the pool, the perfect trunk popped up on Facebook Marketplace. FREE. 🙌🏼

Now, it wasn’t painted. It was plain wood, brown, and definitely not what I had envisioned. 😂 But it had good bones, so I went and picked it up.

And honestly? It was beautiful all by itself. It was truly an antique and didn’t really need anything done to it.

But I had a vision.

The problem? I know absolutely nothing about painting trunks. 😂 So I called two friends, took their wise advice, and, of course, used a LOT of ChatGPT. And somehow, we made it happen!

This trunk went from plain Jane to my vision, with a whole lot of help along the way. ❤️

You’ll see the progression in the pictures. Is it perfect? Absolutely not.

But neither am I.

I like to say that I am perfectly imperfect, and so is my trunk. ❤️

Today, the trunk is on display at Campbell Accounting Solutions, just waiting for items to come in so we can fill the trunk and, ultimately, fill shoeboxes for children across the seas.

And here’s the thing…

We can go ahead and start early. 😂

Or you guys are going to get really tired of seeing my posts, because I really don’t mind being the tangible hands and feet of Jesus. ❤️

I feel very strongly that this is part of a mission much bigger than we are. What started with seeing one decorated trunk in a barber shop has turned into something that I truly believe we were meant to do.

A lot of times I say that I like dogs better than people….. CAS is officially going to the dogs 🐶 Meet Sasha, our new receptionist. Today was her first day and she did a great job! Her only complaint was that she’s not allowed to lick the clients. 🤣
