Your Finances Are a Spiritual Matter. Begin Treating Them Like One — Because the Stakes Are Higher Than You Think.

30 days ago, I began sharing the values behind DADA Global. This is the core. Everything else flows from here.

I want to close out this month with something I feel deeply — something I believe is the undergirding principle of everything DADA Global stands for:
Your finances are not separate from your faith. They are an expression of it.

Every dollar you earn is a resource entrusted to you by the God who created your mind, your skills, your opportunity, and the body that allows you to work.

Every financial decision you make — how you save, how you invest, how you protect, how you give, how you plan for the future — is a stewardship decision. A spiritual decision. A declaration of what you actually believe about God, about your family's value, and about the future.

When you refuse to get life insurance because "God will provide," you are misappropriating faith.

When you avoid estate planning because "we don't talk about death," you are letting cultural discomfort put your family at risk.

When you spend every dollar you earn and save nothing, you are treating God's provision as if it were guaranteed, infinite, and without responsibility.

But when you plan wisely — when you protect your family, build for the future, and position your wealth to bless generations beyond you — you are living out one of the most powerful acts of faith available to a human being.

You are saying: I believe God's provision is real, I respect it enough to steward it well, and I love my family enough to prepare for what I cannot control.
That is stewardship. That is faith in action. And that is the heart of everything we do at DADA Global.

CALL TO ACTION

As we close this month, I challenge you: take ONE financial stewardship step today. Book a call. Review your policy. Start the estate planning conversation. One step. DM me the word STEWARD and let's start that journey together.

I Didn't Come This Far to Only Come This Far — And Neither Did You

There is a particular kind of exhaustion that comes mid-journey. Not the exhaustion of starting — that comes with adrenaline and vision and possibility.

This is the exhaustion of the middle — where you've been working for a while, where the results are coming but slower than you hoped, where you look ahead and the finish line still feels far and you look behind and you can't quite see where you started.

I know this place well. Building DADA Global while recovering from a liver transplant, while reestablishing my identity outside of a nursing career I had given 22 years to, while raising a family and holding onto faith when the numbers and the circumstances didn't always cooperate — I know the middle.

And here is what I know about the middle: it is where character is formed. It is where the people who persist separate from the people who quit. It is where your real story is being written — not the curated version, but the true version, the one that will one day be the testimony that sets someone else free.

You have not come this far — through the sacrifice, the late nights, the imposter syndrome, the cultural barriers, the health challenges, the financial pressures — to stop here. Your breakthrough is not behind you. It is in front of you. Keep building. Keep protecting. Keep believing.

You didn't come this far to only come this far. The most common reason wealth-building strategies fail is not lack of money — it's lack of follow-through in the middle seasons.

Stop Waiting for the Perfect Moment to Protect Your Family. That Moment Is Right Now.

I hear it all the time. "I'll get to it when things settle down." "I'm going to look into life insurance when I get my next raise." "Estate planning is something I'll do when I'm older."

I said some of these things myself, once. And then 2019 reminded me that life does not wait for convenient timing. Procrastination in financial planning is not neutral. It is costly. Here is what delay actually costs you:

Every year you wait to get life insurance, your premiums increase — because you are older, and statistically, less insurable.

Every year without a disability plan is a year your income is fully exposed.

Every year without an estate plan is another year that the courts, not your family, would decide what happens to everything you've worked for.

I am not saying this to frighten you. I am saying this because I care about what happens to your family — with the same intensity that I cared for my patients across 22 years of nursing. And a good caregiver does not let you stay comfortable in a situation that is quietly becoming dangerous.

The best time to build your financial strategy was five years ago. The second-best time is today. Not next month. Not after the holidays. Today. Because your family's security should never be on a waiting list.

You are one conversation away from clarity. I'm here. Let's have it.

Gratitude Is Not Just a Feeling. For Me, It Is the Foundation of Every Single Financial Decision I Make.

When you've been given a second chance at life — when you have lain in a hospital bed and understood that your next breath was not guaranteed — everything that comes after is saturated with a gratitude that changes how you see the world. How you lead. How you build. How you give.

I am not building DADA Global to accumulate wealth for its own sake. I am building it in gratitude — for the life I was given back, for the families I now get to serve, for the opportunity to take the wisdom of 22 years in nursing and the hard-won lessons of a health crisis and turn them into something that genuinely helps people. That is gratitude in action.
And gratitude, I have found, is the most powerful financial principle I know.

Grateful people are generous people. Generous people build communities, not just portfolios. They give before they calculate the return. They protect not just because it's financially smart, but because they understand what it cost to get what they now have.

Every financial decision I make — in my business and in my personal life — passes through a gratitude filter: Does this honor the life I was given back? Does this serve the people God has placed in my path? Does this leave something worthy behind?
Build from gratitude. Everything else follows. The CEOs and leaders I most admire build from a place of gratitude, not ego. It changes every business decision.

What My Nigerian Grandmother Taught Me About Wealth That No Business School on Earth Could Ever Replicate

She never had a degree in finance. She never sat in a boardroom. But my grandmother understood wealth at a level that humbles me — even now, as a CEO.

She understood that wealth was communal — that what one person built was not for that person alone, but for the family, the community, the next generation.

The Yoruba concept of Ajọ — the communal savings circle, where members pool money and take turns receiving a lump sum — was one of the earliest informal wealth-building strategies in the world. My grandmother lived that principle.

She understood that land was sacred. That what you owned, you protected. That you did not sell your inheritance lightly. That you built on what your parents built, and you left something for your children to build on too.

She understood that time was more valuable than money — because money lost can be recovered, but time spent poorly is simply gone. So every investment she made — of her time, her resources, her relationships — was intentional.

These are not primitive ideas. These are the foundations of the most sophisticated wealth strategies in the world — repackaged for modern markets, but rooted in ancient African wisdom.

We did not need to import this knowledge. We were born with it. We just need to reclaim it. Honor your roots. Build on them. And leave something worth inheriting.

The 3 Pillars of Generational Wealth — If You're Missing Even One, Your Legacy Is at Risk

After more than two decades in healthcare and years building DADA Global Financial Group, I have distilled generational wealth into three essential pillars.

Every family I work with — no matter their income level, no matter their background — needs all three to truly pass wealth forward.

Pillar One: PROTECTION. Before you can build, you must protect what you already have. This means life insurance, disability coverage, health insurance strategies, liability protection, and estate documents. Protection is the foundation. Without it, one unexpected event can erase everything.

Pillar Two: ACCUMULATION. This is where growth happens. Properly structured financial products — including Indexed Universal Life policies, annuities, investment portfolios, and real estate — allow your money to grow over time in a way that compounds in your favor. Accumulation is the engine.

Pillar Three: DISTRIBUTION. How do you pass it on? This is where estate planning, living trusts, beneficiary designations, and business succession planning become critical. Distribution ensures that what you've protected and accumulated actually reaches the right hands, in the right way, at the right time. Distribution is the legacy.

At DADA Global, we don't sell products. We build strategies across all three pillars — because one pillar alone will never be enough to build something that truly lasts. DADA Global's services tying directly to each pillar.

What the Bible Actually Says About Wealth May Surprise You — Especially If You Were Taught That Money and Faith Don't Mix

One of the most damaging pieces of theology I encounter in faith communities is the idea that poverty is holiness and wealth is worldliness. That wanting financial security is materialistic. That desiring to leave an inheritance for your children is selfish. I understand where this teaching comes from. But I believe it has caused immeasurable harm to communities that deserved better.
Here is what scripture actually says:

Proverbs 13:22 — "A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children." Generational wealth is a godly goal.

Deuteronomy 8:18 — "Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth." Wealth production is God-given ability — not worldliness.

Proverbs 21:20 — "The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down." Financial wisdom and preparation are praised in scripture.

Luke 14:28 — "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost?" Jesus himself used financial planning as a metaphor for wisdom.

The Bible's concern is not about money itself. It is about the love of money above God, and the failure to be generous with what we receive.

Wealth built with integrity, held with open hands, and distributed with generosity is not un-Christian. It is deeply biblical.
Your prosperity is not a contradiction of your faith. It is a potential expression of it.
The most purpose-driven leaders I serve were freed from poverty theology early in their journey. That freedom changed everything.

You Were Not Born to Just Pay Bills and Die. There Is Significantly More Waiting for You.

Somewhere along the way, many of us absorbed a story about our lives that was far too small. A story that said: get a stable job, work until 65, retire if you're lucky, hope the money lasts. That story is not a legacy. That story is a survival plan.

You were created with purpose so specific that only you can fulfill it. Your gifts, your background, your pain, your experience — including all of the hard parts — were not random. They were architecture. The blueprint for something larger than a paycheck.

I came from Nigeria with a dream and a work ethic. I built a nursing career across more than two decades. I went through a life-altering health crisis. And on the other side of all of it, I discovered that everything I had walked through was preparing me — not just to survive — but to serve at a level I never imagined.

Today, DADA Global Financial Group serves families across the United States and beyond — helping them protect their income, build their wealth, and pass it on with intention. This is not just a business. This is the purpose that was waiting for me on the other side of my hardest season.
What is waiting on the other side of yours?

Start building. Not tomorrow. Not when the conditions are perfect. Start now — with what you have, where you are, exactly as you are. The life you're meant to live is calling. The most effective wealth builders I work with all share one trait — they know their WHY.

Estate Planning 101: The Most Important Love Letter You'll Ever Write Is the One That Protects Your Family After You're Gone

In Nigerian culture — in many African cultures — we do not talk about death. It is considered morbid, even disrespectful. I understand that deeply. But I also know this: silence on this subject is one of the most expensive choices a family can make.
Estate planning is not about expecting to die. It is about loving your family enough to prepare for the possibility. It is the most practical, most generous act of stewardship you can perform for the people who depend on you.

Here is what a basic estate plan includes:

A Will: Documents your wishes for asset distribution and names a guardian for minor children.
A Living Trust: Transfers your assets to your heirs without the delay and cost of probate court.
Power of Attorney: Designates who makes financial decisions for you if you become incapacitated.
Healthcare Directive / Living Will: Documents your medical wishes if you cannot speak for yourself.

Life Insurance as a funding mechanism: Ensures liquidity is immediately available when your estate needs it most.
Without these documents in place, a court decides what happens to your home, your children, your business, your money. That is not a legacy. That is a crisis left for your family to manage while they are grieving.

Let's change that. Let's build something that honors your life and protects those you love. Only 33% of Americans have a will or estate plan in place. Among diaspora communities, that number is even lower.
