Keep an eye on your mailbox, Ohio employers! The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is distributing its recently approved $1 billion dividend, and checks will continue to go out through October.

What to know:
✅ Eligible employers do not need to apply. The BWC determines eligibility and payment amounts from its records.
✅ Dividends are approximately 90% of premiums paid for the 2022 policy year.
✅ Checks are paper only, mailed to the address the BWC has on file.
✅ If you owe the BWC a balance, the dividend will be applied to it first.
✅ Checks are valid for 90 days after issuance, so don’t let it sit.
