It’s not always about sleep and baths …

If playing video games makes you feel good, do that. (just ask my son)

If watching Netflix makes you feel good, do that.

If cooking or baking up a storm makes you feel good, do that (but make the kids clean up).

If having your kids be taken care of by friends, family or child care helps you stay sane, do that! It’s actually great for their socialization and getting used to different environments.

My point is, what makes you feel good will look different than what makes your sister-in-law, best friend, partner, kids, your ‘ideal self’ or Michelle Obama feel good.
